I Shot Myself
Wow, wow, wow. Ok, I already reviewed another site by this creative team called "Beautiful Agony", and this site is every bit as wonderful. Basically, it's a collaborative nude and semi-nude photo and video galleries, all female contributors from all over the globe. The concept is simple: real women taking photographs of themselves, artistically, creatively, with as much or as little showing as they would like. The result is a wonderful, body-image boosting and sex-positive webzine with material you won't find anywhere else. I strongly advise taking the free tour to get an overview of the content. You'll find generous free sample images that are playful, colorful, beautiful. If you click on the sponsorship options, you'll find a whole bunch of levels and prices in order to view more content. See the extended review for more info on that. In the membership area, you'll find 1,700+ portfolios by over 1,500 artists with over 70,000 images and 150 video clips. I love the whole presentation: click on a folio and you'll get a page of thumbnailed images, bio info about the contributing artist, and a very active comments forum. The images by and large are really well done. Most of the contributors are quite talented photographers. When you're browsing, you can sort your results in many different ways: by artist name, by date added, by content (video, photo), and so on. The videos are largely the contributors shooting video of themselves shooting photos of themselves, with commentary sometimes. You can download zip files of movies, or stream them in WMV or Quicktime. The photo sets, as well, can be downloaded via zip file if you want a whole set. Absolutely wonderful site!
